Dat Al Gore de Nobelprijs heeft gewonnen zal niemand ontgaan zijn; ik ga hier geen mening geven of dat verdiend of niet is. Dat Al Gore ook een Oscar heeft gewonnen voor 'An Inconvenient Truth' weet ook bijna iedereen. Dat de man die zichzelf altijd aankondigt met 'I am Al Gore, I used to be the next American President' ook een begenadigd komiek is weet bijna niemand.
